PDF /SOAR Annual Schooling Show

We’ve had a bit of a Summer vacation here at PDF Eventing. It’s been great but I think we are all looking forward to getting back out there and competing again.

After Bromont we really decided to give everyone a bit of downtime from competitions, more than we usually have over the summer. We skipped all the June shows and decided not to bring anyone out until the second Loch Moy HT in mid July. I’ve gotten a bit antsy watching everyone else out there competing but, I have to admit, it’s been really nice to get to focus on some “homework” and let the horses have a break from their busy spring schedule. We have a lot of youngsters who did quite a lot this spring and I don’t feel a lot of pressure to run them everywhere possible, and the big guys have enjoyed their break after Bromont and seem to be happy having a more relaxing summer. 

We did get to enjoy the annual PDF Schooling show put on by SOAR and the amazing Brian and Penny Ross. The show keeps getting bigger and better every year and we love being able to host it for the community. We also go to show off some of our sponsors as Stubben NA came with a tent and had saddles available to try. We put up a Quench Corner for our sponsor Horse Quencher and offered samples of their product as well as buckets of it for the horses to sample. It was all a great success and a lot of fun! We are so thankful for all of our Sponsors- Triple Crown,Southern States, Stubben NA, Horse Quencher, Point Two USA and EQyss Grooming Products and we always love to give back to them and show how grateful we are to have their support.
